Tremor Ogg/Vorbis Decoder Project
Tremor is an Ogg/Vorbis decoding project currently underway. The project commenced on March 16, 2004. It is Open Source but I do not have a cvs system maintaining the code so any modifications you decide to make can be submitted back but only changes which I apply will make their way into the original source code. All modifications can be sent to email@example.com. Thank you.
This site is for learning. My objective is to discover the Ogg/Vorbis format and program a simple(codewise) but robust and thorough decoder for any conceivable use. The decoder will take the form of a win32 dll written in c++. I will export simple to use functions which can be called from any language in order to bring Ogg/Vorbis to the forefront in terms of ease of use and adaptability. Documentation will be the key to this project. When the dll is complete it will be thoroughly and concisely documented. The project objective and some reasons to use Ogg/Vorbis can be found here.
